Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA)

Contract #1715

Effective Dates: June 1, 2009 - June 30, 2012

With two (2) optional one (1) year renewal terms

The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) was formed in October 1993 by the state purchasing directors from fifteen NASPO western states.  The primary purpose of creating WSCA was to establish the means by which participating states may join together in cooperative multi-State contracting.  This approach helps states to achieve cost-effective and efficient acquisition of quality products and services.  Cooperative purchases are developed by member states.

Membership consists of the central procurement official that heads the state central procurement organization, (or a designee for that state), from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

A "lead-state" model is used in undertaking cooperative multi-state contracts. Nevada is the lead state for this procurement.

The scope of the contract is multifunction copier and software sales and service throughout the Lead State (Nevada) and the additional states indicating interest in participating in an eventual contract.  Additional states may be added with the consent of Konica Minolta Business Solutions and the Lead State (on behalf of the WSCA Participating States) through execution of a Participating Addendum.

Interested states must first enter into a Participating Addendum (PA) before utilizing contracts and should contact Konica Minolta Business Solutions to obtain the documentation.
