Overview

The MS7000 MK II microfilm printer gives you a large widescreen view of microfilm and microfiche originals, so you can quickly read and review more information on screen, print on paper, and scan and digitize for electronic distribution.

• 12" x 17" anti-glare screen for easy viewing of two-page spreads and wide originals.
  
  
• Accepts a wide range of film and fiche carriers for microfiche, jackets, aperture cards, 16mm and 35mm roll film, and 16mm film cartridges.
  
  
• The microfilm printer even offers a check stacking function that allows you to scan and print check front and back on a single sheet.

Features

Fast, Flexible Widescreen Viewing. Front-panel control button easily switches from PC scanning at up to 800 dpi to laser microfilm printing at up to 20 sheets per minute to speed your work sessions.

Multi-Carrier Support. Supports microfiche, jackets, aperture cards, 16mm and 35mm roll film, and 16mm film cartridges.

Laser Printer Option. Expand the capability of the MS7000 MKII with the option for a laser printer. The microfilm printer provides 20 ppm output

KIP Starprint. Wide-format printer option gives you a total read/scan/print solution for engineering, maintenance and manufacturing applications.

"Push" Scanning. Lets you initiate PC scans and adjust scanning parameters directly from your MS7000 MKII microfilm printer control panel.

Dual Interface. Standard SCSI-2 for PC connection, plus a high-speed video connector.

Selectable Scanning Density. 200, 300, 400, 600 or 800 dpi lets you balance scanning speed and image quality to meet your needs.

Auto Imaging Features. Motorized image rotation, auto focus (with option), auto skew correction, prism lens, auto centering and auto frame masking.

Check Stacking Function. View checks on screen, scan front and back, crop and de-skew each image independently, and output both sides automatically on a single 8-1/2� x 11� sheet.

Manual Trimming and Masking Option. Select and verify the exact scan area you want.

Digital Image Enhancement. Correct density, contrast, resolution and sharpness.

Electronic Zooming. Reduce or magnify your image from 50% to 200%.

Component Scanner/Printer Design. Allows you to configure your system the way you want it.

Accessories

MSP3000 Laser Printer: Micro-Toning system produces 400 dpi or 600 dpi output at up to 20 ppm. Standard 150-sheet paper tray, 250-sheet universal cassette, optional 500-sheet letter-size cassette and optional third 250-sheet universal paper tray; warm-up time of less than 70 seconds, first-copy output in just 13 seconds.

KIP Starprint Series Wide-Format Printers: Advanced print quality, extended print length, networkable function, and numerous stacking, folding and software options.

Grayscale Kit: 256 levels, 8-bit output to PC for exceptional-quality halftones and graphics.

Auto Focus Kit: Automatic focusing improves the efficiency of your microfilm printer system.

Lenses: 7.5x single-focus lens; 9 - 16x, 13 - 27x, and 23 - 50x zoom lenses (interchangeable with MicroSP3000, MS3000, MS7000, RP607Z).

Fiche Carrier: Fiche Carrier 5 (FX-2) for fiche only.

Universal Carriers: UC-2, UC-5, UC-7 handle both 16mm and 35mm open-reel film and fiche; universal carriers are compatible with MicroSP-Series and 600-Series Reader Printers.

Roll Film Carriers: RFC-9B and RFC-11 handle open-reel 16mm and 35mm film; RFC-15A, RFC-22A handle 16mm ANSI film clips; RFC-15M handles M-type cartridges; RFC-21 handles both 16mm M-type and ANSI cartridges; film carriers are interchangeable with MicroSP-Series and 600-Series Reader Printers.

Aperture Card Carrier: ACF-7 can handle up to 150 aperture cards, supports (3) operational modes: manual single, scan, automatic single scan, and automatic batch scan.

Auto Focus Kit: Provides auto focusing to make scanning sessions more productive.

Manual Frame Masking Kit: Manually pick regions for printing or scanning and manually identify areas to be masked or cut; convenient front-panel control makes masking and trimming easy.

MARS Controllers: MARS Controller 4 or MARS Mini Controller 2 permits computer-aided retrieval software to automatically seek, recover and print blipped microfilm images mechanically.

PC Interface Kit: Scan microform imagery directly to a PC for use in websites, Email, fax communications and desktop publishing applications.

Footswitch: Makes scanning easier for extended work periods.

MicroDAX Scan Software: Accomodates two-level MARS for batch scanning, thumbnail views of batch images, multi-page and single-page TIFF, and front-panel controls of your Konica Minolta microfilm printer scanner.

Recollect software: Scan microfilmed papers with automatic OCR, arrange and recover digital records, explore by name, date, keyword or phrase -- even find info if words have been misspelled.
