Overview

Konica Minolta magicolor 5670EN color laser printers are designed for work teams that need high-performance printing and excellent print quality. Built on an Emperon Print System, they deliver color and B&W prints at up to 37 ppm, and feature a 120,000-page monthly duty cycle for high-volume demands throughout the day.

Features

High speed from first page to last. magicolor 5670EN color laser printers produce 9600 x 600 dpi-class PhotoART contone color and B&W prints at speeds up to 37 ppm and feature a monthly duty cycle of 120,000 prints.

Network and local connectivity. Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000BaseTX), IEEE 1284 parallel and USB 2.0 interfaces connect work teams including Windows, Mac and Linux users.

Built-in Emperon Print System. With PostScript 3 and PCL 6 emulations, plus native XPS functionality for Windows Vista systems.

Exceptional Color Control. With eAIDC (enhanced Automatic Image Density Control) calibration, the magicolor 5670EN delivers consistent color accuracy page after page. Color laser printers also allow you to adjust color quality precisely using ICC Profiles, Automatic ICC-based color matching, Dynamic Contone Screening, PANTONE Color tables and popular press emulations.

Broad media support up to banner size. Print on an array of paper sizes from postcard to 8.5" x 47.24" banners and on a variety of office papers.

Duplex and staple options. A duplex option enables you to print two-sided color or B&W documents. Add a 2-bin staple finisher to left-corner staple, sort and offset stack jobs for quick retrieval and distribution.

HDD storage and security. With optional HDD, the Konica Minolta magicolor 5670EN lets you store fonts, forms and profiles, activate job accounting, and manage print jobs more effectively with Job Storing, Proof then Print, Print and Hold, and Secure Print.

Direct printing. With an optional compact flash card or HDD, you can quickly print PDF, JPEG and TIFF files directly from USB Flash drives or connect your PictBridge-compatible camera to the printer's USB Host Port and print photos on demand.

WSD support. magicolor 5670EN color laser printers support new WSD (Web Services on Devices) networking, a new secure protocol designed to speed and improve the discovery of networked devices throughout your work environment.

IPv6 the next-generation Internet protocol. IPv6 dramatically increases IP addressing power and gives every networked magicolor device its own IP address.

PageScope management solutions. A full suite of software solutions, including PageScope Web Connection for web-based device management, PageScope Net Care for remote configuration of MIB-compliant printers, PageScope EMS Plug-ins for enterprise environments, and PageScope Data Administrator for managing address and security data.

Warranty protection. Konica Minolta color laser printers come equipped with a 1-year limited warranty.

Accessories

500-Sheet Paper Cassette: Color laser printers come with the option to add up to two additional 500-sheet paper cassettes to raise maximum paper capacity to 1,600 sheets.

Duplexer: A duplexer enables automatic two-sided printing of color and B&W pages.

Staple Finisher: This option provides left-corner stapling, offset stacking and job separation. Features 100- and 500-sheet output trays.

Memory: Standard 256 MB RAM for color laser printers is upgradeable to 1024 MB.

Compact Flash Card: The magicolor 5670EN accepts third-party compact flash cards in sizes of 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB. (Note: compact flash card available from 3rd-party vendors only.)

Hard Disk Drive: An optional 40 GB internal IDE hard disk can support increased memory, security and convenience functions.

Printer Cabinet: This cabinet is designed to provide additional storage space for paper, toner and other supplies for color laser printers. It also raises the printer height and features casters for mobility.
