Severely Injured Heroes and Their Families/Caregivers Will Attend February 28th Event in Baltimore, Maryland

Ramsey, N.J. and Ossining, N.Y. - February 24, 2009 - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. (Konica Minolta) and the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes™ (CSAH) have partnered to bring 50 severely wounded American veterans and their families/caregivers to the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic on February 28, 2009 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.  This is the second sporting event Konica Minolta - along with the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl - has donated game tickets to the CSAH, the leading nongovernmental organization providing emergency financial aid to severely wounded troops from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families, as part of its continued efforts to support local communities in which the company maintains a presence.

In just its third year, the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic has become the traditional start of the lacrosse season for the game's growing fan base.  This year, it does so with a new matchup - Duke vs. Maryland - to combine with Johns Hopkins vs. Princeton.  In its first two years, the Face-Off Classic attracted crowds of 20,180 (2007) and 19,165 (2008).

"This is our second year as the title sponsor of the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic, and as with the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl, we wanted to leverage our position in a way that allows us to honor the brave men and women who have served our country," said Kevin Kern, vice president, marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.  "We are very proud to continue working with the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes, and we're looking forward to seeing the veterans in Baltimore."

50 veterans will be attending the game as well as CPL. Timothy Bredberg (Ret), who was a combat medic for an infantry unit in Iraq.

He was hit by 5 different IED's on five different occasions. He was injured by mortar shrapnel to his knee and the worst thing he lost that day was a dear friend. In December of 2007 he attended the Road to Recovery Conference in Orlando with CSAH.

Bredberg serves as one of the national spokespeople for CSAH.

Ticket Information
Ticket prices for 2009 will be $10 each for groups of 10 or more, $20 each for Lower Level reserved seats and $30 each for Club Level seats.  All seats for the event are reserved and lacrosse fans are urged to make their plans early to reserve the best seats in the house.
