RAMSEY, NJ - July 26, 2006 - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced their line of bizhub™ MFP products garnered the Best Overall rating in the annual end-user study conducted by Office Products Analyst, the longest running, continuously published publication that focuses exclusively on the office automation industry. Konica Minolta had the most first place ratings in two key areas: Performance ratings of Features/Functions and Performance and Importance Effectiveness, vaulting the company's MFP products to first place overall.  Konica Minolta achieved highest marks in such areas as Photocopier Capability, Color Capability, Bi-Directional Communication, Internet Printing, Facsimile Capability and Paper Capacity, all critical areas for end users to determine value, reliability and return on investment.

"Our performance in the Office Products Analyst survey validates our strong showing in double-digit revenue gains and market share improvement in 2005," said William H. Brewster, Jr., Vice President, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.  "Our focus is on the bizhub customer experience, and our most important performance benchmark is the experience our customers have with our products, our sales channels and our support staff.  It's very gratifying to us that we see evidence of our acceptance in the marketplace and empirical numbers that tell us that we are delivering real value to our customers.  It's the mark of a top tier company and all of us at Konica Minolta are dedicated to continuous improvement in this key area."

"The changes and investments Konica Minolta has made over the last several years appear to be paying off," said Andy Slawetsky, Vice President, Industry Analysts, Inc., publisher of Office Products Analyst. "For the first time since they joined companies, Konica Minolta has been rated best in our annual MFP End User Study.  The results say that customers using Konica Minolta MFPs like them the best."

Several times a year Office Products Analyst contacts hundreds of offices by telephone and asks respondents to rate different devices in their office, such as fax machines, printers, copiers and more.  In the MFP study, Office Products Analyst interviewed small business and enterprise customers and asked them to rate the multifunctional devices they use on a daily basis. "In the study we combined two ratings, Importance of Features with Performance of Features to achieve a more relevant rating of Effectiveness," said Slawetsky.  "Konica Minolta scored highest overall.  We congratulate Konica Minolta on this outstanding achievement."
