Leading Manufacturer of Advanced Imaging and Networking Technologies Transitions to On-Demand Platform

Ramsey, N.J. and San Jose, Calif – April 10, 2008 — Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ: CALD), the leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM), today announced that Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leader in advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, has gone live with Callidus On-Demand to manage its sales performance and incentive compensation management programs. A customer of Callidus on-premise solutions since 2000, Konica Minolta chose to convert to the On-Demand platform for its ease of implementation, parallel-processing capabilities and predictable spend model.  After a short conversion time of 100 days, Konica Minolta has been using Callidus’ On-Demand services for its approximately 2,500 sales representatives in North America since February of 2008.

“We have successfully been using the Callidus TrueComp® Manager suite of software products since 2000 and have seen the overall efficiency and satisfaction of our sales force and channel partners improve since that time,” said Deloss Schertz, director, Strategic Application Services at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. “We transitioned to Callidus On-Demand when it became clear that Konica Minolta would enjoy a predictable spend model without sacrificing capability, functionality or service. We have experienced a swift and professionally executed transition to Callidus On-Demand, a proven solution that’s accurate, on time, and provides us with additional web-based visibility.”

In transitioning its Callidus on-premise solutions to Callidus On-Demand, Konica Minolta will be able to realize a number of added benefits in its overall ability to process compensation. As a Callidus On-Demand customer, Konica Minolta is using the modules of TrueComp® Manager, Callidus TrueAnalyticsTM and TrueInformation® to process its sales compensation. The company is also working to fully integrate its SAP applications with Callidus in order to streamline its ability to effectively process more data. Since Callidus has an ongoing partnership with SAP, it allows Konica Minolta to easily link its sales performance management into its wider information systems – delivering a total solution that is flexible, scalable and dynamic.

“We are excited to see a loyal customer like Konica Minolta transition from one Callidus solution to another in order to best address its evolving needs. The Callidus On-Demand community of customers is rapidly expanding as more companies recognize the value of being able to align incentive compensation with corporate strategy. Our on-demand solutions afford our customers a strategic advantage in today’s fiercely competitive economic climate,” said Jeffrey Saling, vice president of Callidus On-Demand. “Following its successful implementation, Konica Minolta has another proven tool to strategically manage sales performance, enabling it to grow revenue and profitability."

To date, Callidus has signed contracts for its hosted on-demand services covering more than 44,000 payees – more than any other provider of on-demand SPM software. Callidus’ On-Demand SPM solutions offer scalability and rapid deployment and implementation capabilities that attract enterprises of varying sizes across all industries – from high-tech and financial services to pharmaceuticals, retail, telecommunications and more.
